This liquid water clarifier includes billions of beneficial bacteria that seek out and consume the excess nutrients including phosphorus and nitrogen that are found in pond and lake water.  In addition, they will go after the organics that make up the muck layer.  This beneficial bacterial solution will naturally improve water clarity, reduce organic buildup in the muck layer, will help eliminate odors, and improve overall pond health.

The beneficial bacteria included in this product are completely safe and normally found in the environment.  They are not modified in any way.  The bacteria will thrive in both aerobic and anaerobic environments (high or low oxygen) commonly found in ponds.  The decaying organic matter and black muck at the bottom of lakes and ponds are food for the bacteria.  In temperatures above 40°F and a pH range of 6.5 – 8.0 the bacteria will quickly degrade the organic matter (muck – dead plant material, waterfowl/fish droppings, etc.) and leave behind only carbon dioxide, more bacteria, and water.  Routine use can completely eliminate muck and return your shoreline to a beautiful sandy bottom.
